The app

• We collect no data. There is no login, no advertising and no tracking.
• Audio: the microphone is used only while your child reads. Speech recognition runs on the phone using Apple's built-in recognizer. No audio is stored or sent anywhere.
• Camera and photos: used only when you photograph or choose a text. The text is read on the phone and stored only there.
• Texts and progress are stored only on the phone and are removed if you delete the app.
• Debug info: the app keeps a log on the phone of what it heard and did, but no audio. It leaves the phone only if you choose "Send debug info" and send it yourself, for example by email.
• The TestFlight test version sends anonymous counts after each reading: how many words the app heard and missed, how closely it was set to listen, device model, iOS version and language. No audio, no text and nothing that identifies you or your child. They go to our own analytics service, so we can see which devices hear children well. The App Store version sends nothing.
• Purchases are handled by Apple. We never receive your payment details.

The waiting list

If you join the waiting list, we keep your email address, the languages your child speaks, whether you'd like to try the app before release, and when you signed up. We only use it to email you about Pagoo: when the app is out, and an invitation if you'd like to try it. The emails are sent through Resend. If you don't confirm within seven days, the address is deleted. The link in every email removes you at once, and you can also write to us. We keep the details until you leave the list, and at most one year after the app is released. The legal basis is your consent.

The website

pagoo.app counts visits with Umami, which we host ourselves. It uses no cookies and stores no IP addresses, so no individual visitor can be identified.
